Photopolymer Signs

Photopolymer signs are one piece polymer resin signs in which all components are integral. Characters and Braille are produced on film, which is placed on the photosensitive sheet of photopolymer and exposed to a special light source. Once the photopolymer is developed, it can be placed on a plate and trimmed to size.

Photopolymer signs are typcially used in applications where high traffic is experienced, such as a school or building elevator lobby area. The raised, tactile text and braille is integral to the sign, so the lettering can not be peeled off the sign. These signs can be produced for interior or exterior applications, and can be made from a variety of materials including resins, aluminum and zinc. The signs are painted to meet ADA with a matte finish and contrasting colors.
